We provide all aspects of internal and external plastering and rendering in Dartmouth, Kingsbridge and surrounding Devon.
No matter how big or small, you will always get the same level of customer service, professional plastering and a very competitive price.
As expert plasterers, we carry dust sheets, dustpans and brushes and hoovers so we can leave your property just as clean as when we arrived. We’ll even take our shoes off if need be! All rubbish and debris is disposed of carefully.
We’ve heard all sorts of horror stories such as plasterers mixing up their plaster in customers bath! You’ll be glad to know we do our mixing outside, covering and paths or garden with a waterproof groundsheet. An outside tap for water is ideal, but not essential.
Many small holes and cracks in ceilings and walls can be repaired without the requirement of a full re-skim, saving you money.
Dated and unsightly artex can be removed without having to replace or board over the existing ceiling. A backing plaster is applied to remove the texture, followed by a final skim leaving the ceiling perfectly smooth.
Tired walls and ceilings can be skimmed with 2 coats of finishing plaster to leave a perfectly smooth wall or ceiling, ready for painting.
Many projects require plasterboard to form walls and ceilings fixed with plasterboard screws. All corners are fitted with angle beads to form a perfect finish and joints are taped. This eliminates possible cracking when final plaster skim is applied.
Stud walls and partitions can be erected to seperate rooms or form storage cupboards etc. Once built they can be insulated, plasterboarded and a final plaster skim applied.
Rendering forms a protective and attractive coating for external walls, which once completed can be painted. Services range from small rendering repairs, to complete property re-renders. A wide range of textured finishes are available from pebble-dashing to tyrolean.
Dot & dabbing is another form of plaster-boarding. Mainly used on bare brick or blockwork walls, the boards are secured using drywall adhesive rather than screws. Dot & dabbing is quicker and less costly than applying a backing plaster followed by a plaster skim
